Service Description

Taught by Charlotte, who has toured Manchester and Sheffield, liaised with many baristas in the worldwide specialty coffee community, and studied various cafe and coffee environments to gain experience, knowledge and study on latte art, milk science and the perfect foam for every drink and milk type. Retain skills that last; learn to recognise your mistakes before milk even hits the coffee, steam dairy-free milks for the smoothest flat white and draw with the surface area of microfoam on a cappuccino, then develop your skills in the Advanced class by learning how to control your wiggles, maximise your layers, make triple rosettas in a single cup, draw 3 types of swans and seahorses, or refine the simplest designs in any cup to make them more powerful, beautiful and distinctive. Whether it's hearts, rosettas or elaborate swans, this class can take you from doing no art, or successful art 1 in 10 times, to making progress every time you pour, with the freedom to record, snap pictures and ask as many questions you need to feel confident in your ability. Charlotte will advise you on how to work with your current espresso machine and you are encouraged to bring your own machine and equipment into the cafe to translate your skills back to when finished with the bulk of our practice on the cafe's commercial espresso machine (which is made by the same brand that happened to be the sponsor of World Latte Art Championships 2023, SanRemo). Every coffee class comes with a bonus 200g of coffee beans/ground to practice with at home!
